Duovir N Tablet is a nucleoside analogue. It is used in combination with other medications totreat HIV infection. It functions by interfering with the growth of the HIV infection.

WHAT IS DUOVIR-N ?

Duovir N uses belongs to a class of medication called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It decreases the amount of virus (HIV and hepatitis) in the blood. It also increases the number of infection fighting cells in the body (CD4 cells). Zidovudine belongs to a group of medications called nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs), also known as antiretrovirals. Nevirapine belongs to a class of anti-HIV medicines called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs).

The recommended adult dosage of Duovir N dosage is One tablet twice daily.

Duovir-N – Contraindications

Duovir N online Tablets are contraindicated in patients with previously demonstrated clinically significant hypersensitivity (eg, anaphylaxis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome) to zidovudine, lamivudine and Nevirapine or any inactive components of the product.
