How to use Vega Tablet
How Vega Tablet works
According to clinical trial results, the most common side effects include:
- nasal congestion
- impaired vision
- photophobia (sensitivity to light)
- dyspepsia (indigestion)
Less commonly, some users have experienced cyanopsia, where everything appears to have a tinted blue tinge.
In very rare cases, Viagra use can lead to nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, or damage to the optic nerve.
Administration of vega 100mg dosage is contraindicated in patients having conditions such as taking nitric oxide donors, organic nitrites and nitrates, such as glyceryl trinitrate (nitroglycerin), sodium nitroprusside, amyl nitrite (poppers); men who are advised against sexual intercourse because of cardiovascular risk factors; severe hepatic impairment (decreased liver function); severe impairment in renal function; hypotension (low blood pressure); recent stroke or heart attack; and hereditary degenerative retinal disorders such as genetic disorders of retinal phosphodiesterases.
Patient under protease inhibitor treatment for treating HIV should be careful. Protease inhibitors inhibit vega 100mg tablet metabolism. This effectively multiplies sildenafil plasma levels, thereby raising the risk of occurrence and severity of side effects. Those using protease inhibitors should limit sildenafil dose to be under one 25-mg dose every 48 hours. The metabolism of sildenafil is also affected by erythromycin and cimetidine, possibly leading to prolonged plasma half-life levels. The use of sildenafil and an alpha blocker simultaneously results in low blood pressure; if the drugs are taken with at least four hours gap the effects don’t occur.
